It hasn’t even been a week since Diablo IV opened its doors to players, but that hasn’t stopped a lot of players from doing some outrageous things. It didn’t take long for us to see the first to reach Level 100 in both normal and Hardcore mode and we discovered a player with a character build that allows him to kill groups of enemies without attacking.
It is not an exaggeration. Reddit user u/WillyWanker_69 has shared a video showing how his Barbarian He is able to kill groups of enemies without having to attack. Stays in place while enemies beat him to a pulp and finish dying from their own harm.

Needless to say, they have asked him what the hell he did to get that build or character construction. The answer is short, but provides details: it recommends choosing all defensive nodes of the skill tree, equipment based on thorns (reflected damage to enemies when they hit us, available in all classes) and the unique aspect that deals spike damage the enemies around us. The amount of damage dealt is related to Strength on the Barbarian.
If this character build does that against groups of enemies, we don’t want to even imagine the potential for this player to smash huge hordes of enemies and bosses combining their attacks with this ability to reflect damage. This is one of the many savageries we’ll see over the next few weeks.
