We knew this moment was going to come at some point. The witches and wizards of Hogwarts Legacy have mastered wizarding combat and unveiled all his secrets to do real atrocities. The normal thing would be to think of combats with spells overcome with style and in record time… but reality surprises us again.
The user u/Positive_Leg_4128 from Reddit has shared a post with a video in which he states that he believes he holds the world record for clearing a Battle Arena of Hogwarts Legacy, specifically the arena located to the south of the map. It takes 1:20 min to beat it on hard difficulty… and that’s losing a lot of time while starting up and between waves. Not satisfied with that, he does it without casting a single spell. He doesn’t use his wand!
As it does? If you have played Hogwarts Legacyyou will know what we are talking about: it has enhanced the abilities of Potions and Herbology in character Talents branches, which allow you to augment and enhance the effects of both potions and plants. The result is a build that deals constant damage to enemies, to the point of barely letting them spawn. The respawn of the game is not prepared for that much power.
In comments, Positive_Leg comments that the plants are so broken which gets boring: “I generally err towards plants but they’re so OP that it gets boring, so I’ll use spells as well when fighting around the map“(I’m usually wrong about plants [al lanzarlas]but they are so OP that it gets boring so I will also use spells when fighting on the map).
World record holder or not, he’s managed to do something incredible and proves that spellcasting is only one part of combat in Hogwarts Legacy. I’m sure you didn’t know this, but the plants and potions are very, very broken… and this is the proof. remember that Hogwarts Legacy It is already available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X / S and will be available soon for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
