The Crash Bandicoot franchise was reborn a few years ago with the remastering of the original trilogy and the subsequent release of Crash 4: It’s About Time. Now the saga in the hands of Toys for Bob is preparing to take a step into the unknown, with a proposal focused on the multiplayer section and that will face us in four-on-four games.
We’re talking about Crash Team Rumble, a competitive team game in which we have to collect more Wumpa fruits than our opponents. In that sense, now Crash Team Rumble delves into one of its maps in its new trailer through which he wanted to show us what the Just Beachy stage looks like and how to play on it.
Crash Team Rumble digs deeper into their Just Beachy map
In the clip that you will find just above these lines, less than a minute long, we can see a paradisiacal environment which is so reminiscent of the beginning of the first Crash Bandicoot and which places us once again between sand, sea and coconut trees. The little gameplay to which we are given access shows us Crash focused on his task, but is interrupted by a wall deployed by Coco Bandicoot.
It is from then on that Coco catches the missing Wumpa no Mi and places it on her team’s box to momentarily take the lead. A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to learn from Toys for Bob In an event for the press, the operation of Crash Team Rumble and the North American company divided the playable areas into three: the scoring area or where the Wumpa fruits are deposited; the Gem Pads, or areas whose dominance enhances our scores; and the Relic Stationswhere in exchange for relics we can get a power that balances the game in our favor.
