One of the most anticipated announcements of Xbox Games Showcase it was, without a doubt, the definitive release date for Forza Motorsport. He October 10th It is the day chosen by Turn 10 and Microsoft to launch what is postulated as the best driving game to date and which will also be available from day one to all Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
As the days go by, we are learning details that go deeper into its content and gameplay. During the Forza Monthly show linked to the Xbox Games Showcase, the game’s director, chris esakioffered an explanatory gameplay about how Forza Motorsport’s career mode works, which will bring great news but also a somewhat controversial option.
Two details of Forza Motorsport that not everyone will like
In Forza’s monthly direct, it was revealed that some Forza Motorsport modes will require a permanent connection, that is, that the console and our profile must be connected to the Internet. This mainly affects the career mode but, although it is usually a badly received feature, it has an explanation. And it is that according to the creatives, the key aspects of progress will be saved on Turn 10 servers and they will not be able to load if the connection is not detected.
On the other hand, thanks to the purchase form of the editions of Forza Motorsport on the Microsoft Store, we have been able to verify the texts and dubbing that the game will have. The only Spanish dubbing that we will receive will be the one from Mexico, because at least for the launch, the one from Spain is left out.
The confirmed voiceovers for the game are: US English, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Simplified Chinese. The listing clearly shows that Turn 10 is betting on globalityalthough this could change after a few months of its launch.
It would not be the first time that a first party game from Microsoft (Xbox Game Studios) adds new post-launch dubbing languages. It already happened with titles like Gears of War 4 (under the high pressure and demand exerted by the players) or force horizon 5whose dubbing into Spanish from Spain came by surprise. At Microsoft they know the importance of the variants of the most widely spoken languages in the world, so we hope that this time they will also consider them, even if it is soon.
