Marvel has renewed its intro and its logo, after 7 years since its last update.
the iconic intros and the Marvel Studios logo at the start of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies have been an extremely iconic and emblematic factor since the first film in this franchise was released, and that even today continues to be present in the productions of this company.
In principle, the intro of the Marvel films was a sequence of rapidly turning pages of comicsturning into a red background, with the Marvel Studios logo.
This introduction has been modified several times, most recently in the new Marvel series, Secret Invasion, which shows a completely new intro after 7 years of its last update. Next, we tell you all the details about it.
After 7 years, Marvel Studios has changed its intro
Since the first UCM movie was released, Marvel has had quite a characteristic introduction which, obviously, is shown in the first seconds of each and every one of the movies and series of the franchise. The intro shown in the video above is from 2016.
Initially, the clip that introduced each Marvel production consisted of a sequence of comic book pages turning rapidly, subsequently displaying the Marvel Studios logo with a red background.
However, over the years, said intro It has been modified a couple of times. In 2016, it was its biggest update, going from showing the comic pages with just the logo, to presenting said pages, but now followed by some of the most outstanding moments of the MCUas well as several of the heroes one by one.
Since then, these introductory pictures have been modified on specific occasionsas for the intro of Black Panther: Wakanda Foreverwhere it was changed to be a tribute to Chadwick Boseman and T’Challa, or in Avengers: Endgamewhen the heroes who disappeared were eliminated.
However, with the release of Secret Invasion, it has been shown a much more noticeable change in the intro of the MCU. At the beginning of the first chapter of the new Marvel series, a shorter sequence of introductory images is shown that they focus on the comic pages, and not so much on the main characters of the MCU.
Although this change represents a big transition, this update was completely necessarysince most of the heroes that were shown in the image sequence, are currently not even part of the MCU.
Some great examples of this situation are the original Avengers, who are mostly dead by nowwhile others are retired or focused on other activities.
In addition to this, the previous introduction focused on characters from the MCU movies, and although in principle that was not a problem, having released several series, this seemed a bit unfair.
That is why it was already necessary to renew the sequence of introductory images, so that it could be consistent for the current UCM. Likewise, this change, having been shown in one of the first series of Phase 5 of the UCM, in a certain way represents the transition to a new era.
