After a long wait we are finally getting closer to the arrival of the second season of The Bear to the platform Star+. This series became all the rage when it premiered because it put us completely in the kitchen of a restaurant and we learned how everything is handled behind the scenes of the food that comes to us every time we go to eat.
The Bear is starring Jeremy Allen Whitewho plays the chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto. carmy leave the world of haute cuisine and return to Chicago to run the family business. And as confirmed by the showrunner of the series, Christopher Storer, in this second season the story “real start”.
“It almost feels like the first season is some kind of ‘let’s catch up,’ and the second is like the show really starts, once we’ve met everyone and seen their history,” explained Storer in a recent interview. “It’s been great to expand the world and get to know the characters better.” In this second season we will have the return of some well-known faces such as Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Richard ‘Richie’ Jerimovich)Ayo Edebiri (Sydney Adamu)Abby Elliott (Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto)Lionel Boyce (Marcus), Liza Colon-Zayas (Tina), Edwin Lee Gibson (Ebraheim) and Matty Matheson (Neil Fack).
But not all are comebacks, as new actors like Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) and Molly Gordon (booksmart). To find out who they will play, we will have to wait for the season to premiere, since their characters are a mystery today. Regarding the number of episodes, we will have ten and their titles are: Beef, Pasta, Sundae, Honeydew, Pop, Fishes, Forks, Bolognese, Omelette, The Bear. Of course, all the names are related to the theme of this season, which is to reopen the restaurant.
The official synopsis reveals the following: “Carmy, Sydney Adamu and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich are working to transform their filthy sandwich joint into a place on another level. As the restaurant is stripped to the bone, the team embarks on their own transformational journeys, each forced to confront the past and consider who they want to be in the future. Of course, it turns out that the only thing more difficult than running a restaurant is opening a new one, and the team must juggle the mindless bureaucracy of permits and contractors with the beauty and creative agony of menu planning. The transition also brings a new focus on hospitality. As the entire staff is forced to come together in new ways, pushing the boundaries of their skills and relationships, they also learn what it means to be in service.”.
The Bear will air weekly on United States FX from June 22nd. It will also be available on the app hulu that same day and with all the episodes. As in Latin America the content of these two channels arrives through Star+, we will be able to enjoy the new season on that streaming platform. The bad news is that it will not be released simultaneously, so we will have to wait at least a month until you arrive in the country.
