Several days later, many of us are still in awe of Spider-Man: Crossing the Multiverse. The sequel to the 2018 animated film starring miles morales It has been a great success and we can’t wait to see the outcome of this very special trilogy. There have been many variants that we have been able to witness in this film, but if we had to choose the best of all, without a doubt many of us would opt for Spider-Punk.
The most lawless Spider-Man has won the hearts of us all with his charisma and cheekiness, and after being impressed with his unique animation, the directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord have confirmed what many expected: we will be able to see the universe of Spider-Punk in beyond the multiverse.
“Visiting the Spider-Punk universe is just one of the many crazy mixed up adventures we’ll be going on in the next movie. So it’s going to be another feast for our eyes.”
In addition to confirming this, Miller and Lord commented in this same interview that creating Spider-Punk was one of the biggest challenges of the film, stating that they had to wait until a week before its release to have all the scenes of this character fully rendered.
Definitely, crossing the multiverse has represented a real challenge for Sony. By learning about the process they went through to create Spider-Punk, we understand much more about the delays and enormous expense that the film has involved. However, the real challenge will come next year, because if it took them that long to render one character, we don’t even want to imagine how long it will take to render an entire world in the same style.
