Over the last few years, a very unique manga rose to fame that became extremely popular thanks to its anime adaptation: Tokyo Revengers. The time travel, the conflicts between gangs and the complex interpersonal relationships between the protagonist and his companions made the work reach impressive figures, and its ending, although controversial, closed with great success a story that the public generally liked.
Now, after a year and a half of rest, its author Ken Wakui will return to action with Negai no Astroa manga that will debut in Shonen Jump magazine, one of the most important shonen publications (if not the most important) in the entire Japanese country.
The manga will be published weekly along with other highly successful works such as One Piece or Jujutsu Kaisen, and will begin serialization quite soon: next Sunday, April 12, 2024. In addition, as it is part of Shonen Jump, the chapters will be available from for free on Manga Plus, the Shueisha service that allows you to read manga on-line.
As for the plot, Wakui did not want to offer many details and has limited himself to commenting that it will be a supernatural manga about criminals, something he already knows very well thanks to Tokyo Revengers and that will help you create a series that seeks to have the same success.
