It is possible that many people are not so up to date in this regard, but the reality is that Dead by Daylight is one of the most played multiplayer video games. You can see this, for example, on Steam Charts, a website that provides you with data on the number of users of each video game on the Steam platform. Many people ended up losing track of this video game, but the constant updates, introducing new characters from time to time, have kept the community going, considering it one of the best multiplayer games in history.

It’s funny, because from the outside it looks like a most bizarre game, with collaborations with horror franchises of all kinds, which, on many occasions, don’t match at all, but even so, they all come together in this curious multiplayer game. Because of this success, it is entirely natural that want to exploit this franchise as much as possiblewhich is why the movement of transforming it into a film is even natural.

Here we tell you all the details that are known, so far, about this upcoming big screen adaptations of Dead by Daylight.

An adaptation that can be interesting

We live in the golden age of video game adaptations for the big and small screen, with great series like The Last of Us, or even films that manage to sweep the box office, like the Sonic movies. For this reason, it is so common for new adaptations to be announced from time to time, although in this case we can say that it is in good hands.

Specifically, the Dead by Daylight movie It will come to us from the hand of Atomic Monster and Blumhouse, the latter being the best known, especially within horror movies, since, for example, they were the producers of M3gan. For now, we do not know many more details, since it seems that this film is in the early stages of development, so we would have to wait a long time.

Of course, the Dead by Daylight movie has the potential to position itself as one of the best video game-to-film adaptations, but as we’ve already said, only time will tell us the answer to this question.
