The Flash has not had the reception that DC expected, in fact, the cameos have not been able to save the film.
The Flash has been released in theaters relatively recently and it seems that the notes have not been very positive. Before you continue reading, we are forced to inform you that in this news there will be spoilers, big or small, but there will be. So if you want to enjoy The Flash experience without any information, we recommend that you stop reading right here, now yes, let’s get down to what concerns us.
On this occasion, Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) goes back in time to save his family, which throws the entire DC universe into utter chaos. From the beginning, The Flash was intended to be an important movie in the new universe that DC is forming, however, it seems that it has not worked as they expected.
The Flash runs towards a pretty poor review
CinemaScore is a page that, as you can guess from the name, offers movie ratings based on critics. Below you can see that the grade obtained by this film is a B, although we can consider it a pass, it leaves a lot to be desired to be a flagship film of this new DC Universe. It must be said that this note is not global.
The grade is in! We were in theaters tonight to poll @dctheflash and it scored a B from the audience. Did you see this film tonight? Let us know your thoughts in the comments #TheFlashMovie #CinemaScore👇👇👇 pic.twitter.com/qPgV6RSatd

CinemaScore uses the criticism that Canada and the United States give to films in their first week of release. Therefore, this note may be higher or lower depending on which populations you use, in addition, The grades used by this website to score range from A+ (this being the highest) to F (Failure). So we don’t know exactly what grade it gets, but we do know that it falls far short of other movies like Aquaman or The Man of Steel, both with an A-.
In fact, The Flash ties with Batman v Superman and ranks as the worst-scoring movies in this new DC Universe we’re witnessing. To give you a little idea, Shazam 2, Black Adam and The Suicide Squad got a B+, thus being above the recent The Flash. However, the winners are Shazam and Wonder Woman, both films with an A grade.
What we can highlight is that no movie in this new DC Universe has achieved a score below B, so it seems that they are saving themselves… At least for now. One thing that seems to be clear is that DC has to get its act together to get back on track with the Batman trilogy directed by Nolan. In that series of movies, they all got A’s.
It seems that the large number of cameos that we could appreciate in the film, from Aquaman, through the old actors who played Superman, or Michael Keaton in the role of Batman, have not been able to catapult the film. DC’s most iconic actors and characters have appeared in the film and have not caused the expected effect. We will see how DC reacts to this and what it is capable of offering its fans.
